I’ve been listening to this song for a while now and I was excited to see Gotye on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week. While the song has been released for more than six months, the performance on the Jimmy Kimmel show was the American television debut. I’m not sure who is responsible for the music guests at Jimmy Kimmel Live but they seem to consistently get the up and coming talent just before they break big. The single has since gone on to reach 8× Platinum (560,000+ units sold). I always enjoy a song full of emotion and angst. Great song. Fun video. Enjoy!
