Check out this new old stock Nikon Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/1.2 lens listed for sale on eBay for $12,800. The seller purchased 13 of these lenses 30 years ago, “all brand spanking new”:
If you are looking at this listing, I assume you are very knowledgeable about this lens, so I won’t go into detail and “hype” this lens. We all know what this lens is and what it can do. If you don’t have a clue, please do not bid. If you believe it’s overpriced, please do not bid.
I purchased 13 of these, all brand spanking new from ADAC some 30 years ago, For those who have no idea what ADAC is, ADAC is a CAT Scan manufacturer. So it’s not a surprise that they buy these by the hundreds and this is my very last one.
