Paul C Buff Three-Light Kit

Our Three-Light Kit was created to meet the versatile needs of a busy photographer. A Three-Light setup can be broken down into three distinct segments, the key light, the fill light, and the back light. The key light is the main light used on your subject. The purpose of the fill light is to fill in the shadows that are created by the key light, preventing them from getting too dark. Finally, the back light / hair light is used to separate your subject from the background. Create unique and impactful lighting options by adding dimension to your images.

ASA 101, Basic Keelboat Sailing

The ASA 101 course provides the skills you’ll need to enjoy active participation as crew in the operation of a sailboat. Learn sailing terminology and its applications, essential knots, points of sail, navigation rules, docking basics, and more.

ASA 103, Basic Coastal Cruising
2 weekends, Sat & Sun (9am – 3:30pm)

The ASA 103 curriculum includes docking and maneuvering under power, anchoring, crew overboard recovery, heaving to, reefing under way and hove-to, correcting for weather helm, tide and current analysis, and an introduction to basic chart navigation.

ASA 104, Bareboat Cruising
3 days / 2 nights, Fri – Sun

Take your chartering to the next level! Gain experience handling larger monohull boats and sailing at night. This 3-day, 2-night course will prepare you for international charter vacations and overnights on San Francisco Bay.

ASA 114, Cruising Catamaran
2 days, Sat & Sun (9am – 5pm)

Our ASA 114 course will introduce you to catamaran systems and boat handling skills to give you confidence as a multihull vessel sailor. Your ASA 114, Cruising Catamaran certification qualifies sailors to charter catamarans at popular sailing destinations worldwide.
